Ideas for final show

Some things to think about for our area in the author project show.

- handmade bunting
- popcorn cartons with the tooth popcorn label on (fill with actual popcorn)
- I also had the idea of actually framing each of our creatures to hang on the wall. I'm going to get some photographs printed online cheaply for myself so I could just add each of our creatures into that and then maybe we could have a look for frames in charity shops or something?

And finally, the ticket prices!

I went for the slightly morbid approach - I hope that's cool with everyone! Agata

Writing

Hi everyone, here are the handwritten titles + descriptions for our creatures:

They'll all be in separate files (and horizontal!) for easier placement in the InDesign document, and I'll also write the ticket prices up for Adam's page.

I'm currently working on mine and Lily's performance page, so I'll upload that as soon as it's done!

the visitor!

(creature sees cage, enters)
I wasn't sure whether I should have the visitor invading another creature's cell or standing outside an empty one

Wall & Development

Just a few shots i took of the wall today and development for those who haven't seen.

(Sorry they're mostly of mine)

Flags & Patterns

Just experimenting with repeating patterns and flags. They could be use to tie together the entire book (flags hanging from the top of each page - etc)

Update (24th Feb)

Hello, just wanted to update those who weren't here today on what we achieved. The main focus of today was discussing the basic layout of the manifesto, and a small workshop on how to apply this into InDesign.

It is a 16 paged document in total, and we've created a very rough sketch of how it will be split between members of the group.

This was created under what we've seen from the blog so far and how much is available. If you have any work that hasn't been seen or uploaded yet, we'd really like to see it!

Excuse the poor image quality, it is a very rough sketch.
